So today I finished week 1 of p90x.

So i am kind of curious if Dave Coy will read this from his news feed. He is the brewer at Raccoon River Brewing Co. He is a big fan of IPA’s and it shows. His Bandit IPA is a great IPA, and the El Bandito Loco is a mighty tasty brew. Something tells me if he was in the business of making beer he liked and not to sell beer, he would be making beers coming in at 8% and be so crazy they would kill your taste buds.

A post because I dont want to clean

Today I shot a round at Ewing and played the front at Grandview. I played with Cole L and Cass C. Cole is a advanced player who is moving up to open after Bowling Green. Cass is a Intermediate play about my skill level. I shot in the +20-+30 range, but it was freaking slick out there. Ewing plays on the north slope of a large hill cutting through an arboretum.  The back 9 opens up to a longer section with well groomed fairways. When I say it was slick, it was freaking slick as hell.

My tourny schedule looks like this:

  • April 11 : Big Ivy Open : Polk City : C
  • April 26 : Graceland Open : Lamoni : C
  • May 24 : Walnut Ridge Tournament : Johnston : C
  • June 14 : Weekend @ the Rez - Sugar Bottom : Iowa City : C
  • July 17-19 : First Class Challenge : Des Moines : NT/A
  • August 16 : Franklin Fling : Belle Plaine : C
  • August 22-23 : Des Moines Open : Des Moines : B
  • September 12 : Waterloo Open : Waterloo : C
  • September 13 : K9 Karnival : Burlington : C
  • September 19 : Newton Tournament : Newton : C
  • October 10 : GVCCC : Des Moines : C
  • October 17-18 : Hwy 69 Dubs : Des Moines : XB

I forgot to mention. I have been chatting with Dan Beato about form. He has helped me work on my distance and accuracy. He has 2 short videos on youtube. The first is for driving and the second is for Blake T’s short arm putting technique. I believe that this technique is great for adding distance and accuracy to my drives. The putting technique is great for someone that needs to work on putting, but I don’t think I’ll be working on this putting sytle anytime soon.
