Long time without an update!
Well alot has happened sence the last update on the ol' blog. First, I believe this is now called a blog for the first time. Second, a new host. I was using uni's webserver for students, but I graduated, so I don't have access. So I am not using reboot the world.net intraweb services for my host. If you don't know its a great service with NOW a great backup plan. Part of the reason that its been so long was due to a OS reinstall that ruined all of my data, except part of an image named "abearrapedmeintheass.jpg". Im hoping to get RSS/Atom feed by the end of the week. That is a promise. There we a few (maybe a lot) of entries that were lost, they are gone. FOREVER! Blame Scott. Anyway, there is a sandwich in my car. Im going to eat it and play some xbox. Perhaps I shall have my gamercard someplace around here.

Does this hurt your eyes too?
So right now you may be asking "Why is this site green?" or "Why is this site monospaced?". Well I've been using a lot of monospaced green on black fonts for programming. Well I kinda missed it. So I'm bringing it back. I'm really looking at use the font I'm using right now, but you can't see what it is so I guess your kinda out of luck. Also im trying to make it look the same on every page, but when I made the page the first time I didn't. So when I cheated and used <dd> for tabs instead of making a list or using " ". (Thats probably going to show up as a space) Well if you don't like the font. Tell me.

Rocking Really Really Really Hard
Ugg how nice it was to get a full nights sleep for once. Yes I got a whole 12 hours. So I'm ready for a night of fun. I applyed for 2 more jobs, this is getting really tedious. Apply, get shot down, cycle. So im working on a way for the page to display correctly in mozilla browsers. This really only effects the VB page right now. I should be able to fix it with a list tag and all will be good again. I'm off for now. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

Program is done
So I would really like to thank Dean for helping me out so much. I am dead still, but typing is still possible. Next up for me is having fun tonight. Half Masted 3.2 is first, then many drinks at the bar. Which will lead to drinking. Also congrats to Brendon Moe and Joe Murphy on winning the NISG president/VP job. I know they will do a great job. Anyway the source for the new program should be up in about 5 minutes. There will be a link on the cobol page. Next up is a VB program. Well I'm off to the CBB for a bit to transfer some files, and maybe just maybe get start working on qbrating.

Ohh my bed is going to feel good tonight
I finished the program about 15 hours before I figured I would, not for that damn runtime error. Keeps crashing my account too. THIS IS NOT GOOD! I am so off to bed, I have only slept 4 hours over the last 3 days. I am starting to get behind in one of my other classes too, which is very bad, but a weekend of a lot of reading should fix that. By the way, half masted is this weekend, 2 bucks in the theatre building. Go see it.

Tiny Explosions, Tiny Explosions, OHH YEAH!
So I redid my source for COBOL. I am so not looking forward to debugging this bitch, cause I know there are typos all over this son of a bitch. This has got to be the worst program of the 7 that we have to do. The next program is on arrays, and I know how to do those. Well I have a coffee date today at 3:30 and class from 9:30 to 12, so I'm going to bed. I never want to do 7 pages of COBOL again from scratch. That sucked BIG dick. Hopefully on Thursday I will get quite liquered up. Nobody is going to bug me for the next few days too, and Cindee im sorry in advance, but I'm going to need a cig tomorrow.

I finally fixed the issue that Plata had with the program and one that he found after that. Current version is 2.12 and it is NOT a virus. Tell you what, because people are asking, part of the source is going to be online shortly, then you can pick on me further.

So I got about half the COBOL program done. The other half will have to be done tomorrow. Oh well. That's for tomorrow. I really don't feel like updating this right now, so that's all I'm going to type.

Should I Stay or Should I Go?
So this is what I did for the last 24+ hours. Went to bed at 8:30. Woke up at 1:30. (5 hours) Went to bed at 2. Woke up at 7. (5 hours) Went to bed at 10. Woke up at 2. (4 hours) Went to bed at 6. Woke up at 2. (8 hours) Ya thats 22 hours in 31 hours. That is a whole hell of a lot of sleep. So i start on the cobol program today, Its a sort function then control break. I'll have the bulk of the code done today, then debug it for a few hours. Hopefully it will be done in 3 or 4 days seeing its due thursday i think.

I ain't got nothing.
So ya, I finished the txt file and well, that was a lot a typing the back space key. I tried to get a COBOL program to work, but after 30 minutes or so I said "FUCK IT!" So, well I really need to go to bed now. I still have a test at 2:00, but that should be cake. Well here is a link to the txt file. Have fun with it. I don't remember what the numbers are, so if you figure it out, get mIRC, go to /server -m irc.novernet.com and /join #UNItalk. Remember to leave off the period. Tell them that Holly sent you.

Ok, I finally fucking finished the database (you can see it here), now for a text document. Should just be a few lines of COBOL, which really means like 5 pages of code, but no headers or footers, just removing spaces and adding zeros. So it's really like a unCOBOL program.

Mark is a pussy!
OMFG this data is taking so much longer than I ever thought it would. I have every thing for 20 of the 32 teams. I also wanted to plug a friends website, UNITalk this is a forum for UNI students to go bitch about whatever is pissing them off. I've made a few friends from this place too and I'm meeting people all the time. So yeah, the database should be done tomorrow, then I'll write a quick COBOL program to make it look how I want it to look then the input data file will be done. I don't think I'll need an output data file the way I'm thinking of doing it. So the actual coding (if you really want to call VB coding) will start late next week. COBOL needs to come first. The next program is a control break logic program and I've never even done anything like it in any other language. So I'm really not looking forward to it. BTW Polo you are a PUSSY for not letting me into late night. And just before midnight I'm getting this on the server!!!!!!!!!

Cause Girls Just Wanna Have Fun
So I started on the program for QB ratings today; I have the calculations working; now I'm working on the database. This is being a little bitch! Not only do I have to manually go though the NFL's website and copy and paste, but then I have to edit it. So it's taking me a lot longer than it should to do this. But hey, I don't have to do it if I don't want to. Plata's fix on the other VB program isn't quite done yet, so it's in the works for tomorrow after humanities, then probably starting on some new COBOL code. I think I'm done for now. Ya, ya, I found out that the turtle's penis is the penis and not his tale. Thanks Sokar! Also the fortune cookie program is updated. I added something like 25 fortunes... or something like that, but anyway there is now more than 100 fortunes! Coming up next is a NFL QB rating program, the code works for one QB, but I'm tryng to make it work for every QB and sortable. That should be done this week sometime, but i have a test tomorrow in calculus and a program for COBOL, so odds are that it will be closer to the end of the month.Ohh and thanks to Plata there will be an update to fortune cookie tomorrow! So I finally decided what to put on here. It's just going to be a stupid blog most likely. Eventually it will become more defined of what this site is going to be, but right now it's just going to be a online diary it appears.
